The Copic Points Program rewards you for engaging with our educational resources—because we know that this insight and knowledge helps you lower your risk. When you participate, you’ll gain practical knowledge and may qualify to receive a discount on your premium.
Copic's education activities keep medical providers and facilities informed about timely issues and offer practical guidance to reduce risk. You can participate in a variety of ways: in-person seminars, on-demand courses, conferences, and other programs. The topics for these activities are developed based on feedback from the healthcare community, claims data, and medical trends (for example, focus areas like liability issues with EHRs and social media, managing opioids, and requirements with allied health professionals). Participating in the Copic Points Program contributes to better outcomes—so when you meet certain annual requirements, we’re happy to reward you with a premium discount.
Choose from 70+ courses that cover topics such as specialty-specific trends, managing unanticipated outcomes, patient communications, and interactive case studies. View our on-demand course catalog. Examples of courses available include:

Practice Collaborative Plans are offered to certain groups as a streamlined way for them to receive Copic points and have an education plan customized for their needs. Knowing that practice needs are fluid and evolving, we’ll work with you to modify or update the plan as necessary.
How is this different from the Copic Points Program?
Practice Collaborative Plans allow you and other providers in your group to earn points as a collective instead of tracking and accruing your own points as individuals. This simplifies the process while keeping everyone engaged in patient safety and risk management education. Each group designates a point person who will be paired with a Copic Patient Safety and Risk Manager to streamline communications and schedule education.
*State regulations and legal environments may limit the scope of availability of certain programs.
